The small print, kept honest
Privacy notice.
Founders Pit runs on trust — including how we handle your information. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it.
IWhat we collect
When you apply for membership or request an introduction, we collect the details you give us: your name, company, role, work email, company website and the description of what you want to be known for. Members additionally maintain a profile with a biography, photography and published work.
IIWhy we collect it
- To assess your membership application and verify your founder profile.
- To contact you about your application, membership or introduction request.
- To operate member benefits: publishing, events, the newsletter and the printed edition.
- To maintain the member directory visible to other verified members.
IIIWhat we never do
- We do not sell your information to anyone, for any reason.
- We do not share application details with third parties outside the selection process.
- We do not make member introductions without the member’s confirmation first.
- We do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.
IVPublishing
Content published through your membership — articles, spotlights and printed features — is public by design. You approve the final material through the editorial process before anything carries your name.
VRetention and your rights
Application data for unsuccessful or withdrawn applications is deleted after twelve months. Members can request a copy, a correction or the deletion of their data at any time by writing to the membership desk via the contact page. Where deletion conflicts with published editorial work, the printed record remains — that permanence is the product — but the personal data behind it is removed.
VIQuestions
Anything unclear? Ask the membership desk through the contact page — a person, not a form-letter, answers.
